Alden Ness

Alden Ness is a rising 12th grader at Friends Seminary (a Quaker school) in New York City with a passion for international affairs and history. He recently attended the School for Ethics and Global Leadership (SEGL) in Washington, DC, a selective semester-long residential program for motivated high school juniors from across the United States that emphasizes ethical thinking skills, leadership development, and international affairs. He is a graduate of the Choate John F. Kennedy Institute in Government Summer Program, where he participated in their government series of classes for high school students. In the spring of 2022, he volunteered in Krakow, Poland to distribute needed supplies to Ukrainian refugees and to fundraise. Alden has long been involved in debate and model UN, where he has won awards at the city and state level.
