Serafim Seppälä

Serafim Seppälä, PhD, born in 1970. Professor of systematic theology and patristics, University of Eastern Finland since 2007. His publications include dozens of academic articles on various subjects published by Brill, Routledge, De Gruyter, Bloomsbury Academic, Four Courts Press, in addition to numerous monographs in Finnish. His research interests include patristic literature, early Christian–Islamic‒Jewish encounter, and cultural legacies of the Armenian genocide, about which he has written two monographs and several articles in Finnish and two articles in English.
